What is prepainted steel coil ?
Pre-painted steel, or coated steel, is steel that has had paint applied to one or both sides via a continuous coil
coating process to produce uniformity in the paint finish.
Using galvanized sheet, galvalume sheet or aluminum sheet as the substrate, prepainted steel sheets are
made by surface pretreatment, with roll coating method, then coating for one or more film layers, and finally
baking and cooling. Prepainted galvanized steel are mainly used for building, transport, home appliance,
solar energy, furniture etc field. Especially in home appliances, the sheets are mainly used as the side door plate of refrigerators, and air conditioners, freezers, and washing machine etc.

Resistance to humid heat: |
Coating protecting mechanism: in hot and humid environments, high osmotic pressure of water vapor accelerates penetration, forming the degeneration of painting film, then the corrosion of the substrate, with the phenomenon of bubbles and peeling. |
Resistance to low temperature: |
Coating protecting mechanisms: most of the paint can keep stable processing performance above 0 degree, but at alpine region, the temperature will be below 20-40 degree, normal paint will become brittle,bend cracking, or even lose paint, thus protection function is lost totally. |
